Dear Universe: What’s your opinion on breastfeeding in public, and why is such a no-brainer so divisive? I say yes! ~ Z, Louisianna
Dear Z: Breastfeeding is as natural as the sun rising and setting. Yet, consideration toward others still applies. In public, honor and respect are avenues that run both ways. Feel free to breastfeed as needed if the law permits, but respect those around you who don’t want to be forced to see your breast. A simple privacy cloth or cover is the solution for both you and your baby, and those around you.
